Bio

Folarin Ashiru graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Education, specializing in Special Education. She is certified as a Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS 1), English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction, and holds U.S. certification to teach children from Pre-Kindergarten through 21. She also has a Doctorate in Education, Leadership with a Focus of Study in Second Language Instruction from the American College of Education.

She has over 20 years of experience in education and uses her background in Psychology and Special Education as a consultant for various schools. Folarin Ashiru provides Educational Evaluation and Assessments for identifying students with learning difficulties. She has a passion for working with children and enjoys helping them reach their learning potential.

She consults with various schools in the Lagos area and sits on the Kingfisher School board in Abuja. She enjoys anything to do with the education of children.  She likes working with technology, web design, graphics, and curriculum design. Her utmost desire is to be involved with organizations geared towards empowering, preserving, and promoting children’s issues.
